The WNSO is committed to revolutionizing the Fitness Industry and providing a competition environment where bodyPROUD athletes have the platform to excel. With the mandate to provide naturally-trained athletes an even playing field, the pressure to use steroids and/or other illegal and dangerous drugs is removed.

Since its inception in 1998, the World Natural Sports Organization (WNSO) remains the official drug testing regulatory body for Physique -- Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure, and Model -- Competitions held worldwide. It provides the rules and regulations that govern drug testing procedures and features a banned substance list.

On March 1, 2012, the WNSO joined the Natural Bodybuilding Alliance so as to help unify the industry and provide more opportunity and growth for natural athletes and events. With its sights set on popularizing bodybuilding -- as in building one's body -- to the mainstream and introducing the sport of bodybuilding -- as in all physique showcase competitions -- to the Olympics, it's important that organizations worldwide follow similar guidelines.

Substances banned from WNSO competition are compiled in accordance with the World Anti Doping Agency (WADA) list of prohibited substances.
